NTA Bauchi Held Its 4th Ramadan Lecture, Highlights Role Of Leadership In Islam

The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Bauchi has organized its 4th Ramadan lecture, focusing on "The Role of Leadership in Times of Hardship: An Islamic Perspective." The event brought together Islamic scholars and Muslim communities to discuss the importance of leadership in Islam.
Guest speaker and Islamic scholar, in Bauchi Shuaibu Idris, emphasized the qualities of good leadership, including dedication, focus, and effective management of people. "Leaders should work with honest and Allah-fearing people to achieve successful leadership," Idris said.
Prof. Bala Dalhat Sulaiman and other speakers stressed that leadership begins at the family level, urging parents and guardians to ensure proper upbringings of their children and wards. "Leaders should prioritize the interest of the public over personal interests," Sulaiman said.
Chairman of the occasion and President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Bauchi chapter, Muhammad Yunusa, called on individuals to support the less privileged amidst the economic crisis in the country.
General Manager of NTA Bauchi,Hajia Fati Isah, reiterated the station's commitment to promoting religious activities and social responsibility. "The purpose of this lecture is to promote credible leadership that serves the people with fear of God, justice, and transparency," Isah said.
The event emphasized on how Leaders will shoulder their responsibilities to promoting socio-economic and religious prosperity, as they would be held accountable for their leadership on the Day of Resurrection.
