The Jigawa State Director of NOA, Ahmad Tijjani Ibrahim commended Governor Umar Namadi for the provision of Ramadan feeding to ease burden on the poor and vulnerable population in the State.

Ibrahim stated this during a tour of one of the centres designated for the preparation of the food in Bulangu community of Kafin Hausa LGA.

He explained that part of the Agency's mandate is to receive feedbacks from the citizens on government policies and initiatives, stressing that various reactions indicate that people support the ongoing Ramadan Feeding initiative of the Jigawa State Government.

According to the NOA Director "from inception, Governor Umar Namadi FCA has demonstrated concern for the plights of the common man as exemplified in his 12 points agenda, which is people centric."

The NOA Director also urged the functionaries, especially the food vendors, to demonstrate Duty of Care, ensuring what is meant for the people actually goes to them.

"You should try to discharge your responsibilities with all sense of fairness and sincerity, because it is when all of us, irrespective of social status imbibe the virtues of fairness and sincerity, that our society can move forward," he said.
