Dangote Foundation Launches N16bn National Food Intervention Project

The Aliko Dangote Foundation has launched its 2025 Annual National Food Intervention Project, valued at N16 billion, to distribute 1 million 10kg bags of rice to vulnerable Nigerians across 774 Local Government Areas.
The project, flagged off in Kano State, aims to alleviate hunger and poverty, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
Governor Abba K. Yusuf of Kano State commended Mr. Dangote's unwavering commitment to addressing poverty and hunger in Nigeria.
The Foundation has partnered with state governments to ensure transparent distribution, with a committee comprising relevant ministries, CSOs, and security agencies.
Managing Director Zouera Youssoufou emphasized Mr. Dangote's passion for philanthropy and commitment to reducing hunger in Nigeria.
This initiative is part of the Foundation's broader efforts to improve living conditions, support education, and promote economic empowerment.
The Aliko Dangote Foundation has also made significant contributions to healthcare, education, and disaster relief efforts in Nigeria and globally.
