Gov. Buni approves reappointment of provost, registrar for College of Agriculture, science and technology gujba.

The provost of Yobe state college of agriculture, science and technology Gujba Dr Alkali Umara Usman has expressed delight and appreciation to Governor Mai Mala Buni for approving his reappointment for another four year term.With effect from 10th August 2023.
In a statement issued and signed by the deputy Registrar Information of the College Mohammad Makinta and made available to newsmen in damaturu.
According to the statement, the decision to extend Dr Umara Usman’s tenure was in recognition of his remarkable achievements, dedication to duty, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the institution.
The statement indicates that his first tenure was marked by academic advancements, infrastructural improvements and strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders to position the college as a key institution for agricultural education and research in Yobe State.
The statement noted that Governor Mai Mala Buni's administration has continued to prioritize education, particularly in technical and agricultural sectors, hence the need for the reappointment to align with his vision of enhancing academic excellence, vocational training, and agricultural innovations in the state.
The reappointment of Dr Usman is expected to build on his past achievements to further transform the college and contribute to the development of Yobe’s agricultural sector.
The provost, therefore, pleaged to justify the confidence and the trust reposed in him by the Governor and good people of the state
towards achieving the college’s mission and vision.
Similarly, Governor Mai Mala Buni has also approved the reappointment of Mohammad Ibrahim as the registrar of the College for the second four-year tenure with effect from 10th August 2023 the statement added
