Post insurgency recovery drive: Gov Buni embarked on Building community with electricity.

As part of the insurgency recovery agenda and fostering resilience, the Yobe state government has provided many communities with electricity to boost socioeconomic growth and development of the people.
Malumti community of Nyanya estate extension in Damaturu metropolitans is one among the hundreds of thousands of communities that benefited from these strategies by the present administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni.
Chairman of the Community Development Association, Mallam Umar Baba Goni Gujba, commended Governor Buni's giant strides in many sectors, including healthcare delivery, agriculture, modern markets, urban and rural electrification, Youth and women development and resuscitation of companies, among others, saying the provision of electricity has opened up new opportunities and enhanced their daily lives.
According to Umar Goni Gujba, the provision of electricity by Governor Buni's administration has brought numerous benefits to the community and improved their overall well-being and quality of life.
He further stated that members of the community expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Governor Mai Mala Buni for providing electricity to their area through the Rural Electrification Board REB.
" We can now study, work and enjoy time with family without the burden of darkness, as well as start small businesses to improve our livelihoods he added.
Mallam Umar Goni also outlines that the provision of electricity increased safety, saying the streets are now well-lit, reducing crime rates and making the community safer for everyone.
He appreciates the efforts of the general manager, Rural Electrification Board Engineer Umara Mustapha Goniri, for coming to their aid by connecting the community with the national grid, pointing out that Malumti is one of the rapidly developing communities within Damaturu, the Yobe State Capital.
The chairman called on the community members to rally round Buni's administration for more developmental policies and programmes.
