NAWOJ Congratulates New NUJ Jigawa Leadership

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Jigawa State Chapter has congratulated the newly elected executives of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Jigawa State Council. The congratulatory message was delivered after the successful conclusion of the 13th NUJ Jigawa Triennial Delegates Conference held at the Press Center in Dutse.

NAWOJ Jigawa State Chairperson, Hauwa Ibrahim Ladan, expressed enthusiasm about the fresh leadership, acknowledging their dedication, expertise, and commitment to the journalism profession. She emphasized NAWOJ's commitment to collaborating with the new leadership to promote press freedom, professionalism, and the welfare of journalists in Jigawa State and beyond.

The association pledged to support initiatives that strengthen the union, protect journalists' rights, particularly those of women journalists, and uphold the highest standards of journalism. The new NUJ leadership is expected to drive these objectives, fostering a more vibrant and independent media landscape in the state.

Ladan wished the new executives success as they embark on their new roles, expressing optimism about the future of journalism in Jigawa State under their leadership.
