The meeting brought together women leaders, party members, and other stakeholders to brainstorm on women's inclusion and marginalization in Nigerian politics. The participants highlighted the challenges women face in politics, including the high cost of contesting elections and the importance of having a "godfather" to succeed.

CITAD representative Ali Sabo emphasized the need for electoral accountability, gender equity, and social inclusion in Nigerian politics. He stated that these elements are crucial for ensuring women have a fair chance to participate in politics and decision-making processes.

During his facilitation, CITAD representative Haruna Adamu Hadejia advised women to enlighten their peers about participating in politics. He encouraged women to take a more active role in politics and decision-making processes, promoting gender equity and social inclusion.

The meeting marked a significant step towards promoting women's inclusion in Nigerian politics. By bringing together stakeholders and discussing the challenges women face, the organizers hope to create a more level playing field for women in politics and decision-making processes.
