In a remarkable display of commitment to the welfare of his constituents, Senator Abdulhamid Ahmed Malammadori, representing Jigawa Northeast senatorial district, has constructed and equipped a state-of-the-art Primary Healthcare Clinic (PHC) worth over N200 million in Yayari ward, Hadejia City.

The Senator personally funded the project, demonstrating his dedication to providing essential services to the people. Upon completion, he handed over the facility to the Jigawa State Government for staffing and maintenance.

"This PHC clinic is a testament to our determination to complement the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi in providing quality healthcare services to our people," Senator Malammadori stated.

Governor Umar Namadi praised Senator Malammadori for the project, describing it as a "solid work of standard" that could rival facilities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. The Governor also encouraged other federal lawmakers to emulate Senator Malammadori's example.

The Jigawa State Government is currently constructing PHCs in each of the 281 political wards, with a 70% achievement rate so far. Senator Malammadori's contribution to this effort is a welcome development, underscoring the importance of collaboration between government and lawmakers in delivering essential services to the people.

Senator Malammadori's gesture is a shining example of his commitment to the welfare of his constituents. As the state government continues to work towards providing quality healthcare services, the Senator's contribution will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the lives of the people in Hadejia and beyond.
