Salem Group of Schools Empowers Students through Quality Education and Career Development

Salem Group of Schools, a pioneering private school in Jigawa State, has continued to provide quality education to students in the state. Established in 1993 as a community development project, the school has produced intelligent, intellectual, and resourceful students who have gone on to occupy sensitive positions in various organizations.

Located on Takur Addu'a Government House Road, Dutse, the school offers nursery, primary, and secondary education, with state-of-the-art facilities including a science laboratory, student library, school vehicle, and computer lab.

Mr. Ojo Felix, the school's propriator said their mission is to provide quality educational services that enhance learning experiences, helping students achieve their greatest potential and adapt to a diverse, ever-changing society. The school on Friday 11th July, 2025 organized a Career 'Day to Day' program for its students, where students celebrated their various fields of interest. The program aimed to expose students to different career options, help them identify their passions, and make informed decisions about their future.

During the program, students had the opportunity to interact with professionals, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into various careers. The event was a huge success, with students expressing their gratitude for the experience.

Mr. Felix said that Salem Group of Schools has received recognition for its outstanding contributions to education, including the "Outstanding Private School Merits Award" from the House of Representatives Committee on Education in collaboration with Family Affairs Consultancy Service Ltd.

As part of it's success, Mr. Ojo Felix stated that the school in it's efforts graduated over 14 thousand student from the inception to date. Ojo then commended the Jigawa state governments in it's effort towards assisting the school from 1993 to date. In which he said the only challenge is in adequate Space where the school be expanded as "we need a lot of sections of the study".
