Jigawa State Budget and economic planning Holds Quarterly Review Meeting with Donor Agencies

The Jigawa State Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning's Development Partnership and Donor Coordination Department recently convened its 1st and 2nd quarterly review meeting for 2025 at the Manpower Development Institute (MDI) in Dutse. This crucial meeting aimed to assess progress, foster effective collaboration, share challenges, and align priorities for the next quarter.

According to Nura Ado, Director of Donor Coordination in the Ministry of Budget, the meeting's primary objectives were to: Evaluate progress made in the first half of 2025, ensure seamless collaboration among stakeholders, discuss challenges faced during the period, set priorities for the next quarter, and identify opportunities for partnership alignment. 

In his welcome address, Muhammad Yusha'u Jaji, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, extended his gratitude to donor agencies for their tireless efforts in humanitarian activities within the state. He underscored the significance of collaboration in achieving development goals, emphasizing that collective efforts would yield greater impact.

The meeting served as a platform for stakeholders to engage in constructive discussions, share experiences, and align priorities for the next quarter. By doing so, it is anticipated that the effectiveness of development projects in Jigawa State will be significantly enhanced.

The state government has been diligently working to ensure effective budget implementation and development planning, with a pronounced focus on capital projects. This meeting represents a crucial step towards realizing the state's development objectives.

Through such initiatives, Jigawa State is poised to make meaningful progress in its development endeavors, ultimately improving the lives of its citizens.
