APC clears Garki-Babura federal constituency by-election in Jigawa

The candidate of the all progressive Congress (APC) Alhaji Rabiu Mukhtar, cleared the Garki-Babura federal constituency by-election in Jigawa state with 38,449 votes while Auwalu Isah Manzo of PDP gote 13,519 votes in which the NNPP candidate gote 2,931 votes.
Announcing the result, Prof. Salisu Ibrahim Returning Officer Garki/Babura Federal Constituency said the victory is assured as the election was free, fair, and credible.
The election which took place on Saturday 15th August, 2015 witnessed a massive turnout of voters amidst security tight.
The winner thanks the massive people that voted for him and promise to deliver his promises pledged during his campaign. Garki then called on those that lost the election to exercise patient and join hands to promote their constituency through various development projects.
Skylink News observed that the election was hitch free, non-violence and massive turnout have been cited across the polin units.
