Gov. Namadi Inspects N6.4 Billion Naira Gwaram- Basirka Bridge Projects

Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namad has Inspected the N6.4 billion Gwaram Basirka bridge and reiterated his commitment for timely completion of the project.
The governor told the contractor that, the state government is fully determine for timely payment of the project in according to the terms of the contract award.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the , the Senior Special Assistant on media to the governor Hajiya Zainab Rabo and made available to newsmen in Dutse.
The governor expressed satisfaction with work at the site which reached 24% and the quality job, urged the contractor to sustain the tempo..
" This contract is expected to be completed in less than one year, because of its significant to the movement of goods and services for social and economic wellbeing of our people"
" The bridge is one of the key strategy bridges that links Northwest and Northwest regions of the country, noted that timely completion of the bridge will ease the difficulties face by motoriests following its collapse as a result of flooding" .
The governor however reiterated the commitment of his Government to bridge the infrastructural gap in the state, and it online with that the government awarded 41 road projects in 2024 alon and completed 26 other inherited from the previous administration" the statement revealed.
