Sambo Hospital Ltd Dutse Appreciates Chairman Ganduje Foundation for Sponsoring Eye Surgeries.

Sambo Hospital Ltd Dutse has commeded the Chairman Ganduje Foundation and the National Chairman All progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje  for Sponsoring 1000 Eye Surgeries at the Hospital in Dutse.

Chief medical director of the Hospital, Doctor Shehu Sambo made the appreciation shortly after receiving award of excellence by the Dr. Ganduje on Sunday 16th February, 2025 at the Hospital promises. 

Along the line, the Jigawa State Government expressed appreciation to the foundation for conducting free eye care and surgeries on 1,000 patients in the state. Malam Umar Namadi, the state governor, stated this at the closing ceremony on Sunday at (SHL). 

He said the government and people of the state were happy with the efforts of the Ganduje foundation in the health sector.

Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who is also the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said the foundation has been carrying out social services in the areas of health, education, and religion, among other services, for the past 11 years.

Dr. Abdullahi Kainuwa, the state Commissioner for Health, had earlier pointed out that the state government has employed more than 2,190 permanent and pensionable health workers across the state.

According to him, the workers were posted to hospitals and health centres across the state.

Dr. Kainuwa disclosed that the state government has also established kidney dialysis centers in Hadejia, Gumel, Kazaure, and Dutse, offering free services.

He added that the present administration has also expanded over N7 billion on the provision of health equipment, construction, and renovation of facilities to improve the quality of health care services in the state.
