Jigawa Assembly Commends Jahun LGC for outstanding performance.

The Jigawa State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government has commended the Jahun Local Government Council for its outstanding performance in administrative and financial matters.

The committee, led by Hon. Aminu Zakari, member Representing Guiwa visited the council to assess its activities and projects executed within the past four months.

During the visit, the committee inspected various projects, including capital projects, water supply schemes, and financial management systems.

 Hon. Zakari expressed satisfaction with the council's performance, noting that the visit was part of the legislature's oversight function to ensure good governance at the grassroots level.

The Chairman of Jahun Local Government Council, Hon. Jamilu Muhammad Danmalam, thanked the committee for its visit and recommendations, stating that the council would implement the suggestions to improve its services.

The visit is a significant step towards ensuring transparency and accountability in local government administration in Jigawa State. The committee's commendation is a testament to the council's commitment to providing quality services to its citizens.
