NASSI Hails Jigawa Governor for plan to Support SMEs with Small Contracts

The National Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI) Jigawa State Chapter has commended Governor Mallam Umar Namadi for his administration's efforts to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the state.
NASSI Jigawa chapter's secretary Comrade Danlami Haladu Shuaibu praised the governor's initiative to provide small contracts to SMEs, describing it as a "bold step" that will empower local businesses and stimulate economic growth. The association noted that these contracts will enable SMEs to participate in the state's development projects, thereby increasing their revenue and creating jobs.
The association also applauded the governor's commitment to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, citing the establishment of the Jigawa State Business-Enabling Reform Action Plan (JS-BERAP). This plan is designed to streamline business regulations, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and attract investments to the state.
Furthermore, NASSI commended the governor's partnership with the Bank of Industry (BOI) to provide soft loans to SMEs, worth 6 billion naira. This initiative aims to improve access to finance for SMEs, thereby promoting economic growth and job creation.
Comrade Danlami then expressed optimism that the governor's initiatives will have a positive impact on the state's economy, saying, "We believe that these efforts will go a long way in promoting economic growth, creating jobs, and improving the livelihoods of our members and the people of Jigawa State."
